Before officially re-branding as Elemental Blend, Segars Communications competed in Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR) Austin 2006 under the new name. The team consisted of Josh Segars, Tim Segars and Brandon Burkett from Segars Communications and Kyle Kothe from Raydius Creative. Elemental Blend competed against some of Austin, Texas' best developers and designers in the acclaimed AIR competition. Even though the team was new to the event, Elemental Blend walked away with a first place win in the Formula One Division of the competition. The award winning site was developed for the Scottish Rite Learning Center of Austin.
